Hailey was an incredible asset and invaluable source of support as our family's post-partum doula after the birth of our child (our first). She made the first few weeks -- which are intense -- so much easier and more managable for us all. We had Hailey come for overnights for a few nights a week for the first six weeks, which was an amazing respite and opportunity to get some rest especially during my post-partum recovery. After our first few weeks were up, we ended up extending -- we didn't want to give up the support!
I felt like I could completely trust her to handle overnights with our baby, and we would look forward to the nights that she would be there. She was flexible, communicative, sweet, and generally a pleasure to work with! And was great with our pets, too. She kept a detailed log of her time with our baby which was helpful. She also learned the best ways to soothe him and shared that with us, which was helpful! I honestly think having her as a postpartum doula taught our baby to sleep longer stretches at night and turned him into the good sleeper he is today.
I wholeheartedly recommend Hailey to anyone contemplating hiring her -- do it! It really made the first few weeks managable.
