There are simply not enough words to describe how wonderful Lauren Guarrasi is. Lauren is such a light. She is an incredible doula and we can’t believe how lucky we are/were to have worked with her!
My husband and I welcomed our first baby recently and worked with Lauren as our birth doula. Our prenatal visits with her were so educational and really helped us feel prepared for the birth experience. She coached us on different comfort measures we could try during labor, educated us about hypnobirthing, helped us prepare a birth plan, talked through any concerns and/or goals we had, and even provided us with nourishing recipes to enjoy after baby’s arrival. So sweet. She made us feel so calm and cared for leading up to our son’s arrival.
The labor and delivery experience itself was so special. Everything Lauren did was done with intention and love. She went out of her way to bring several tools to the hospital to help me stay comfortable during contractions, and her calming nature helped me focus and relax. She even brought string lights and aromatherapy to help make the space at the hospital feel serene and cozy. Lauren helped both myself and my husband feel confident, grounded and at peace during the birth itself. Having her there to support us just made the experience even more beautiful!
Again, we can’t recommend Lauren enough to anyone who is seeking a warm, compassionate and bright doula. Not only is she an amazing doula, but she’s a phenomenal person and someone we consider to be a lifelong friend :) We love you, Lauren!
