Marcy was our very first postpartum doula to work with, literally the very night our daughter was born. I could not have asked for a better first doula. I will never forget that night. I was exhausted, sleep deprived, unsure of what to do (first-time mom), and was not able to breastfeed (our daughter had a tongue tie, a lip tie, and two buckle ties). Marcy was so kind, helpful, and prioritized me getting sleep (which was honestly what I wanted to hear). She was great with our daughter every night we had her help, and she celebrated all the little "wins" with us (like the first night our daughter slept 7 hours straight). I was always happy, excited, and at peace on the nights Marcy was coming to care for our daughter. She was always on time. She even stayed a little later a few mornings when we needed it. She is a very experienced postpartum doula (and mother herself). She filled in for other doulas when they couldn't watch her a few times. She always had a great attitude. She always stayed calm, humorous (when needed), supportive, gave advice when it was asked for, was careful not to overstep, and was really easy to talk to on all those nights and mornings I had to pump. I highly recommend her for all families looking for a great doula to work with.
