I think whatever I write here will not adequately express just how important Tatiana was in my birth journey. I'm a first time mom and my labor ended up being 34 hours long - Tatiana was with me every step of the way. During my pregnancy she checked in on me regularly, and asked thoughtful questions about our goals for childbirth that I hadn't even considered. When we knew an induction was headed our way, she scheduled a meeting with us to walk us through every step of the process. When we called Tatiana to come to the hospital, we thought we were getting close, but were very wrong. Tatiana stayed awake with us for more than 24 hours straight as I dealt with a rough labor that included several complications and failings of my health care team. Tatitana advocated for me, noticed things the nurses had missed, and I believe was the reason I was able to avoid a cesarian. My baby wasn't in the ideal position, and Tatiana spent all night and all day repositioning me (not an easy feat once I decided to get an epidural). She got assessments from the doctors about baby's position, and was able to move me over and over, so by the time I was ready to push, baby was finally in the right position. I ended up needing a forceps delivery, and the only reason they were able to do this and avoid a cesarian is because baby was positioned properly, all thanks to Tatiana. She was moral support, she was a friend, and she was my advocate when I couldn't be my own after laboring for so long. She stayed with us after my daughter was born to help me learn to breastfeed, and when I had more complations postpartum she continued to check in on me almost every day. She captured precious photos and videos of my daughter being born, and was just beyond anything I could have imagined. She was the most incredible support for our birth, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. Hiring Tatiana was the best decision I made during my pregnancy; you would be lucky to have her by your side.
