Without a doubt, working with Tia was one of the best decisions we made during our pregnancy. We connected late in the game (at 37 weeks!), but she immediately became an invaluable resource — not only for me, but for my husband as well. Her passion, expertise, and calm, confident presence brought us so much comfort in the final weeks leading up to delivery.
During labor, Tia was both advocate and coach. I was induced and planned to labor unmedicated as long as I could. She helped me stay grounded, supported my decisions, and communicated with the medical team to ensure I was getting what I needed at every step. When I chose to get an epidural, she continued to guide us through next steps with patience and encouragement.
After the epidural, my dilation stalled and the baby was still high. Around 3am, my doctor gently set expectations that we’d likely deliver closer to noon. Tia had other ideas. With her and my husband's emotional and physical support, she guided me through a series of position changes (yes, even with the epidural!) to help the baby descend. Thanks to her guidance, I was fully dilated by 5:30am and ready to push — something that surprised even my doctor.
I truly believe that without Tia’s expertise and intuition, my labor would’ve looked very different. She was an incredible complement to our medical team and an essential support to my husband, empowering him to feel confident and involved. Tia told us her goal was to help me have a positive birth experience — and I can say with certainty, I wouldn’t have had the experience I did without her. If you’re considering working with Tia, do it. You will not regret putting your trust in her.
