I highly recommend Elia as a doula! She has a lovely, warm personality that makes you feel like you've known her for some time. She is an excellent listener and helped me process my feelings before and after my labor. During my labor (home birth) she was perfectly attentive to my needs and was such a wonderful support, both physically and emotionally. She was so tuned in to me that she gave me what I needed mostly without me needing to ask, whether it was a sip of water or a hand or leg to squeeze. Poor girl - I probably left bruises! Our first night at home with our newborn was pretty rough, so she also came back the next night and helped us as a night doula. What a gift that was! It was magical to be able to sleep and know that our baby was in good hands. She also did lots of helpful things around the house while we slept, like laundry and organization. One of the best things about Elia is her enthusiasm and joy - she always made me feel like she was just so happy to be here helping me, from while I was still pregnant, to during labor, to afterward. Elia is a calm, loving doula that I can't recommend enough!
