During the prenatal phase, she gave my husband and I an invaluable crash course on birth and baby care, it was both in depth, easily digestible, and allowed us to ask our hundreds of questions as first time parents.
When it came to labor, I wanted a natural approach for personal reasons and because I’m in recovery, hoping to avoid stronger painkillers. Emerald was incredibly supportive, guiding us through the process and how long to labor at home, and the right moment to leave for the hospital. Just as we had planned, we arrived at the hospital fully dilated, and Emerald expertly coached me through pushing and finding the best positions, ensuring everything went as smoothly as possible. It was exactly the birth experience I hoped for.
Post-delivery, Emerald continued to be an incredible resource, offering us support with feeding and newborn care. I can’t recommend Emerald enough for her compassion, expertise, and the incredible support she provided through every step of our journey
