Testimonial for Molly Raynor
I am a mother of four, 38 years old and used Molly Raynor as my doula for three out of the four births. She made the drive to Macon, Cartersville and Rome, Ga for each of my births. My first pregnancy and delivery, I thought I was educated enough on the birthing process to be able to handle the ups and downs without any assistance out side of my husband. I was majorly wrong and the memories of that delivery are not as pleasant as the other three. I reached out to Molly the following pregnancies to help me gain an understanding of the stages of pregnancy, stages of labor, how to mentally find the headspace to handle the pain, and for extra assistance in the hospital to keep the doctors and staff aware of my wishes and desires. Molly was very kind, thorough, compassionate and aware as a doula. She took her role and responsibilities very serious without making me feel like a number but a person with needs and wants. She was well versed in stretches, poses, techniques to keep labor moving once it was started. One of my favorite reasons for using Molly was she became my "external thinking brain". In the thick of labor pains and then post birth highs; I depended on her to make sure I was properly being care for and that baby wasn't given anything I didn't want on my birth plan.
