We had such a great experience with Britney in 2022 for the birth of our first baby that when we got pregnant again, I told my husband, "I don't give birth without you, and I don't give birth without Britney." Even though we'd done this before, we wanted to work with her again, and I'm so glad we did. This labor and delivery turned out to be very different from the first. My first was 16 hours of labor in the hospital and included a lot of down time. This labor was only about 2 and a half hours. Even though it was quicker and more intense, Britney brought the same expertise and calm to the situation. Because everything happened so fast, I had to labor to about 8cm before they could get me an epidural. She guided me through every contradition, kept me moving between positions and reminded me that my body was doing exactly what it was supposed to, which I really needed to hear in the moment. She even remembered my epidural preferences from my last labor and reminded me of them when the time arrived. It was a totally different labor and delivery experience, and I could not be happier that Britney was a part of our team again. Thank you Britney!
