She has such an amazing calm disposition and is thoroughly knowledgeable about so many aspects of the birthing processes as well as post partum needs. She was amazingly flexible when I went into the hospital 2weeks before my due date and was told i would be getting a C section instead of vaginal birth as we had prepped for. She was so supportive at the hospital and after as this was a sudden change to our plans. Julie offered her extended services as a postpartum doula. Im so happy to have had her post natal knowledge and connections to lactation consultants. She was such a support system in that delicate time transitioning from pregnancy to motherhood. As an older mom but still a first time mom, i was afraid of looking stupid and despite any age difference i felt at ease with her in my home. Julie is kind, cating, always professional and had a wealth of knowledge she brings to her practice. I feel i made a friend through our working relationship. I would definitely hire her again if we were having another child. I highly recommend her services.
