Working with Regina during my postpartum journey was truly a blessing — one that I didn’t even realize how much I needed until she arrived. Unlike many doulas who come in right after birth, Regina entered our home a little later, after the initial whirlwind had settled. By then, my family support had gone home, and I found myself in that quiet, often overlooked space of postpartum life — not quite in crisis, but not okay either.
From week 6 to week 12, Regina came into our home several times a week and brought with her a sense of calm and care that I hadn’t felt in a long time. She nourished us — not just with the most delicious, healing meals, but with her steady presence and practical support. She helped with the house, with the baby, with the things that felt impossibly heavy on my shoulders.
But more than that, Regina was the first person in my postpartum experience who truly centered me — my body, my needs, my emotions. So much of that early phase revolves around the baby, but Regina made it clear that I mattered too. Her presence allowed me to truly rest and recover. The impact she had on my healing and sense of self during those weeks is something I’ll carry with me always.
I am endlessly grateful for Regina, and I truly believe that every new parent deserves someone like her by their side. She gave me the kind of support that goes beyond a service — she gave me deep, nurturing care when I needed it most.
