I found Anita Ortega through Doula Love, and I am so happy that we did! She was the best birth support person you could ever hope for. She is calm, compassionate, a wealth of information, great advocate. When labor progressed quicker than anticipated and an unplanned home birth was imminent, she remained level headed and guided my family to do what was needed (call 911, get towels, etc). She then stayed by my side for the whole pushing stage and her voice and guidance helped baby come less than an hour after my water broke. I could not have done it without her, and am so grateful we had her on our birth team.
