We loved our experience with Rachel! From the moment we met her at a doula meet and greet, we were drawn to her warmth and steadiness. We had a few meetings with her leading up to the birth - she was so patient in answering our questions and helped ease our worries as this was our first child. During the birth, her presence was calming for both of us and we knew she had our backs (mine also literally). She visited us at the hospital the night of my scheduled induction to make sure we got settled in, had a delicious breakfast delivered the next morning, came back and kept our spirits high as we waited for things to ramp up. Once they did, she offered soothing words of encouragement as well as gentle yet firm touch, and guided my husband in his support. She helped us navigate decisions and worked seamlessly alongside our amazing nurses. She visited us a day after birth then again postpartum to check in and connect us to additional resources. We are so pleased with how the whole experience unfolded and glad that we trusted Rachel to be by our side during such a vulnerable and beautiful moment.
