She was able to support us with pregnancy support, labor care, and post partum - as a new mom, the latter two were the toughest for me and I truly feel my experience would not have been the same without her calm presence and confident ability to gauge appropriate and effective ways to step in. Her bedside manner is unparallelled - always making us feel so heard and seen by being authentically empathetic, patient, and kind. She expertly helped us navigate various new parent milestones - breastfeeding, sleep schedule, bottle feeding, juggling work / baby - by taking the time to sit with us and understand our family's specific needs/preferences. No matter what issue arose - we found a lot of comfort in knowing Kay was just an email, call, or text away. She is such a wealth of knowledge and excellent at what she does, not to mention just a delightful person to spend time with. By the end of our time together, she felt like our third parent / fairy godmother - having guided us through the intense and tender time of the newborn chapter.
