We were so lucky to have Heather as a part of our preparation, birth, and postpartum experience for our first child. While no one close to me has had a doula, I could not argue with the data surrounding improved birth experiences. I had anxiety surrounding a healthy pregnancy, and at our first meeting Heather equipped me with valid sources to gain information and answered all of my questions objectively. On the day of and day leading up to birth, Heather answered all of our questions, gave us tips and checked in. She arrived at the hospital quicker than imaginable when things progressed quicker than we had expected, and I can honestly say that her presence allowed the time spent in labor and delivery to be a truly enjoyable experience. Postpartum was a chapter I had not done much preparation for, but Heather's regular check-ins on us and our baby boy gave us such peace of mind and logical answers to our many questions. I would recommend her services to anyone interested, and would describe the experience as so much more warm and personable than the word "service" conveys. So grateful for Heather!
