We were so lucky to have worked with Christine for our second baby, from when he was born until he was almost three months old. We had wanted to work with her for our first child, but scheduling didn't work out, and she was booked. As soon as we found out we were pregnant with #2, we knew right away that she was our person.
Christine is so nurturing, loving, and experienced with infant care. She is incredibly knowledgeable and helped in so many areas of caring for our baby – from breast and bottle feeding, issues with bottles and suck/swallow, and newborn schedules, to having a plethora of tips and tricks for how to develop healthy sleep habits (we didn't know she was also a pediatric sleep consultant!). She got our little one sleeping 7-8 hour stretches between night feeds by the end of our time with her!
For me, she was a calming friend whom I could talk to and feel fully supported by. I had a major case of the baby blues the first two weeks, and Christine was like that best friend I could cry with, who would tell me it's okay. We felt completely at ease with Christine, even my husband, who is very nervous with strangers in the home. He's 100% a Christine convert, which says a lot!
We highly recommend Christine to anyone looking for an overnight doula. She is the best!
