Brittani is a wonderful and gifted doula! We originally connected because she was chosen for me as a backup doula in the circumstance that my doula was unavailable during my labor. I am so glad we met! She was a huge source of encouragement and support as my pregnancy dragged on long past my due date.
When I needed her in labor she had a calming presence, encouragement, and good instincts. She let my husband take the lead in supporting me, but still stepped in to provide comforts like eye contact, massage, water, and cold rags for me, and probably many other things I don't know about! After the labor she stuck around and made my kids breakfast and helped empty and pack up the birth pool. She just goes above and beyond.
We were so happy to have Brittani be our postpartum doula as well! She helped make our transition to a family with 4 kids very smooth. It was a huge blessing to have her available to do a lot of cleaning around the house and play with and care for the kids (who loved her!) while we got some much needed rest.
And personally she has been such a good friend and came by to review the labor with me which meant a lot.
She is a great support during and after labor! We highly recommend her!
