She was a strong support through navigating the end of my pregnancy, the process of labor, and backed me up as a strong advocate throughout the L&D process to avoid unnecessary interventions. She answered every question I had, always sent resources to back up her advice, and was a calming presence and strong assurance when we got curveballs (like when my baby was breach, or when I had cervical swelling during labor). Stephanie was also a strong support for my husband, who had many questions of his own and leaned on her in the delivery room as well.
