We started working with Helen around the start of my third trimester. She helped my husband and I work through birth education and planning aspects that we found super helpful as first time parents. Going into the birth we initially planned to be out of hospital but ended up having an emergency C-section after a long labor- Helen was present and supportive through the whole process. It was great having someone experienced with us as well as many unexpected things came up with the shift in plan. Postpartum support was also helpful and we found it great to have scheduled time to check in on what we were experiencing in the early weeks with baby. Our little one also took to her so naturally!
