This was my second pregnancy with Nicole as my doula and I can't stress enough how important it is to have a doula & Nicole is a GREAT one!!
Niole has such warmth about her and is extremely knowledgable in all things pregnancy, labor, birth & breastfeeding. Especially when I was pregnant with our first baby, the wealth of knowledge that Nicole taught us was invaluable regarding the stages of labor and breastfeeding which is so important because sadly most women do not get properly educated on these prior. She is also very helpful in being proactive about baby positioning using the body ready method, spinning babies & the miles circuit. I went over 40wks both times and Nicole was an amazing support for staying mentally strong and surrending to the waiting game. The support she has given me during both of my labors/births has been irreplacable! She stays calm and seems to just know what I need next regarding position change, hip squeezes and verbal encouragement. I truly believe that part of my births have gone so well is because of her!Nicole genuinely cares about her clients and I feel like I could contact her at any point during pregnancy or postpartum and she would gladly help with whatever it is. She really cares about the mother's emotional well being afterwards and it's great that she is a safe space to talk about the birth afterwards to process it all. Even if you don't think you need a doula I can gaurentee you will get at least one positive benefit from it, if not several! (:
