I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Bing as my postpartum doula. During the 56 days she lived with us, Bing not only cared for me and my baby with genuine love and patience, allowing me to experience a peaceful and reassuring start to motherhood, but also taught us how to care for our child and helped us smoothly transition into a family of three.
Bing has extensive caregiving experience and solid theoretical knowledge. What I am most grateful for is that she discovered my baby’s inguinal hernia — something even pediatricians often miss during routine checks. After reporting it to the doctor, he confirmed that we caught it just in time and arranged surgery within a week. I can’t imagine what could have happened without Bing’s timely discovery.
Being a doula is hard work. I noticed Bing’s eyes would sometimes be red from staying up late, yet she always approached us and the baby with high energy and never once brought any negative emotions into our home. On the contrary, she made everything lively and joyful.
As an introvert, I usually worry about people who don’t respect personal boundaries, but Bing was someone even someone like me felt completely comfortable with. She knew exactly when to liven up the atmosphere and when to give me and my husband our space.
Bing also touched me with many small acts of kindness — she would proactively help with grocery shopping and organizing the fridge, filmed a vlog of my and my baby’s first outing, and even wrote an incredibly detailed departure letter before she finished her stay with us.Bing is not just a professional doula — she feels like a trusted family member.
