We chose Jen to be our birth doula after interviewing 3 other doulas and we are so glad we did! She is so warm, kind and knowledgeable. During our meetings she educated us on childbirth, did some hypnobirthing and gave us so many resources. This was invaluable as we are first time parents and needed a lot of hand holding through pregnancy, labor and what to expect postpartum. My planned home birth turned into an urgent C-Section at the hospital and Jen was with us every step of the way. She was by my side, helping to keep me calm and her presence was very soothing. She advocated for me and my birth plan as much as possible with the hospital staff. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her comfort and support! We then had her come back for a few postpartum visits at home and she helped us with baby, chores and she cooked (her food is delicious!) Plus I got a well needed massage! She was also very responsive throughout my pregnancy and postpartum - quick to respond to texts or calls. Oh and she is just an all around awesome person and we shared some good laughs together! I’d 100 percent recommend her as a birth and/or postpartum doula!
