When we first brought our newborn home from the hospital, we truly had no idea what we were doing — from feeding schedules to soothing techniques, from breastfeeding basics to even just making a bottle. Thankfully, Junko, started with us the day we came home from the hospital, and I honestly don't know how we would have managed without her.
Junko came for about 5 hours each day, Monday through Friday, and that turned out to be the perfect amount of time. She guided us patiently through all the basics, not just showing us what to do, but teaching everyone in the household so we could feel confident on our own. She had an incredible way of sharing her knowledge without ever making us feel judged or overwhelmed — just supported, seen, and completely safe.
Even though it was such a vulnerable time for us as new parents, we felt so comfortable around Junko. She was warm, sensitive, and incredibly respectful of our pace and emotions. We truly loved having her in our home and feel so lucky that she was part of our early journey into parenthood.
On top of everything else, Junko also made us the most nourishing postpartum foods, tailored to our preferences — like Korean seaweed soup, red cabbage salad, oatmeal cookies, lactation bites, and so much more. She also made sure our living space stayed clean and tidy too, which was incredibly important to me.
Junko made all the difference for us as first time parents and I would highly recommend her to any new parent!
