We were overjoyed with our experience with Dawn. She guided my husband on how to be an active partner and recrafted the ambiance of the labor room with a calming positivity and a practiced hand. She turned my hospital bathroom into a sanctuary of soft lighting and intention cards and during some of my most difficult contractions I was able to use it for moments of respite and privacy.
Dawn was our advocate and anchor throughout the labor. Every method of relief and support was in place as she moved two steps ahead. During the active pushing period, when the nurses were looking for mineral oil, she already had it on hand. I was told that under my labor circumstances, nearly all women use pain medication. However, Dawn’s confidence in my ability to deliver naturally, along with the practical tools she provided, helped me achieve that goal. I never engaged in self-doubt with her at my side.
Dawn has been a lifeline for us as new parents. No question is too small or large – from breastfeeding to bathing. Having a constant dependable resource through the overload of parenting advice is crucial. Dawn has given us the confidence and peace of mind so we can be present for these next stages of parenting.
