In moments of stress or uncertainty, she was the calm in the storm—never flustered, always present, and intuitive about what I needed.
During both labors, she guided me through pain management techniques that helped me manage contractions —counter pressure, position changes, breath work, aromatherapy, massage, and emotional encouragement. She seemed to know exactly what to offer at just the right time - and had everything we needed in what my husband lovingly referred to as her “Mary Poppins Bag.” I felt stronger and more in control because she was by my side.
My husband also agrees we couldn’t have done it without Kathleen. She encouraged him, helped him feel involved, and created a space where we could work together as a team
Kathleen works seamlessly with hospital staff—respectful, professional, and collaborative. It helped create a positive, unified environment where I felt supported by everyone in the room.
