I had my first baby with Emily as our doula. She is the BEST investment I have made this whole pregnancy. I cannot explain the peace of mind she brought to me not only throughout the pregnancy, but especially during my long delivery! I do not know how anyone has a vaginal birth without a doula. Truly, she worked miracles for my husband and I. I LOVE that throughout our entire time with Emily, she was always team mom AND dad. She was thinking about all three of us and ensuring I had what I needed, but that my husband did as well. We made an amazing team and I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with her. She was the doula with two of my sister’s births, and God willing, she’ll continue to be in all of mine. In the postpartum phase, she’s not fizzled out either. Day 2 she’s at my door helping me with breastfeeding, teaching me her swaddling tricks, and imparting so much of her knowledge on my husband and me. She’s checked in daily and made sure we are settling in nicely to our new family at home. We could not be more thankful for Memmys Mommas and everything they’ve brought our family. We love ya’ll!!
