Schyler taught us how to be great parents!
We cannot express how lucky we feel that we were able to have Schyler as our post-partum Doula. We thought we hired Schyler to give us a few hours of rest and relaxation a few times a week, and she did. But during these times she showed us a thousand things that made our little girl so much happier and made us feel like we were not just surviving but in the "top 1%" of parents :). A few examples: she showed us how to put a little pillow under our daughter's head while we were changing her diaper to make her feel more comfortable; she showed us how to put a warm, wet washcloth on her stomach in the bath to keep her from getting cold (to this day she likes the water more than other babies, and is excelling in swim class!), and she often gave our dog a massage when he was near the baby which we think helped the dog really learn to love the baby.
If you have the chance to have Schyler as part of your team, our advice is to take it without hesitation!
