It was very comforting and helpful to have Tessa for several weeks of postpartum overnight care. Even though it was my second child, it was so helpful to know she would be there at night to provide additional support to help me get some extra sleep and be a sounding board for any questions I had about my newborn and his behavior. Getting extra rest really aided my recovery - I felt much better much quicker after giving birth than I did after my first, where I did not have as much consistent overnight help. In addition to being very kind, one of the best things about Tessa is how punctual and reliable she is. Any changes to our agreed-upon schedule were communicated well in advance, and she was always on time every night and very communicative. This took a huge load of stress off my shoulders during a pretty stressful time. Additionally, I felt very confident leaving my newborn in her care, as her experience and gentle demeanor came through very quickly.
