I was looking for a doula as soon as I found out I was pregnant as I haven’t had the best advocating for myself in the past, I knew that once I was pregnant it was no longer about me but my baby and the shared experiences me and my family would have together on this journey. I was considered high risk somewhat early on and Christine empowered not only myself but my husband with knowledge we didn’t even know we would need. She helped me heal in ways I didn’t know I needed and gave us tools that in the end gave us the most beautiful birth any first time mom could ever ask for. She helped me when I started to panic and reminded me that not everything is as scary as it sounds. In the end she gave us ultimately the most beautiful birth experience and I’m so forever grateful and thankful.
