Rebekah was the perfect doula for my pregnancy and birth experience. She was literally the balm to my anxious heart as my husband was deployed the majority of the pregnancy and we weren't sure if he would return in time for the birth. She was my support person and she absolutely came through in that role and more. She's completely professional, knowledgeable, honest and has a sense of humor to lighten the heavier first time mom fears.
She was always available via email in the earlier days of my pregnancy and checked in as my due date approached. She even offered to meet with us once my husband returned so they wouldn't be meeting for the first time during labor. This was above and beyond and we are both grateful for that. She very clearly helped me decipher what I wanted in my birth plan and explained procedures i didn't understand during our meetings.
She answered her phone in the early morning hours when my labor started and gave great advice over the phone several times until she could arrive to help me labor. While at the hospital she kept me calm with different techniques, was quick to suggest positional changes and was great at working with and reminding my husband what to do to best help me. She worked well and communicated with all the nursing staff in a professional and knowledgeable manner as well.
I would absolutely recommend Rebekah as a doula especially if faith is something that's important to you. I know that I could not have gotten through my labor and delivery as well without her there. You won't regret choosing her.
