My partner and I are first time parents and we were looking for a postpartum doula that was gentle, calm and would fit seemlessly into our home and life. Elena was exactly that. She always took the time to listen to how our days/nights were going and provide suggestions to help us out. When breasfeeding moments were difficult, she was there to hold me, calmly support me and remind me that I was doing a good job. It may be a small gesture but it meant a lot to have that reminder. That early newborn stage is rough! But Elena was able to help ease us both into our new roles as parents. We joked that Elena had the "doula touch." Our baby just calmed instantly with her. I can't say enough how helpful it was to just rest (day and night) when she was at our home helping us with our baby. We looked forward to our days/nights booked with Elena's help. Those first few weeks are difficult and I know without Elena, things would've been 1000x worse. Having Elena's support truly helped us start this parenthood journey on a stronger foundation. If you're looking for someone to slip in your family easily and support you and your family, I'd highly recommend Elena as your postpartum doula.
