Patti was a phenomenal part of our birth experience and we are forever grateful to her for all she did in supporting us through our journey. From the first meeting, Patti made her philosophy and approach very clear, answering our questions with patience, a wealth of knowledge, and detail. We were looking for someone who would work well with our hospital based OB but would help us advocate for the things we wanted. Patti was both familiar with our OB practice, the hospital we delivered at, and had a great reputation with our medical team (our OB literally said "oh we LOVE Patti!" when I told them we had decided to work with her).
During labor itself, Patti was patient, offering us guidance and information as we navigated a confusing and complicated situation. She helped us understand our options when things felt confusing, translated the medical jargon, and knew where everything was -- clearly supporting the medical team too. I had an extremely long labor, and Patti stayed with us for nearly the entire time, supporting me through contractions with massage and new positions, and supporting my decision to get an epidural when things became unmanageable. She was the absolutely hero of the day for us, stepping in when we needed it and giving us space as well. She is excellent at reading the room and vibes.
Finally, Patti's prenatal massage completely relieved my third trimester back pain, and the postnatal massage put me back together. She is invaluable as a bodyworker. I truly cannot recommend Patti enough, she is a miracle worker.
