Having Sky as our overnight doula was truly one of the best decisions we made as a growing family. From the very first night, she brought a calm, reassuring presence into our home that instantly made me feel more at ease. Each morning, she would leave incredibly thoughtful and detailed write-ups via text about how the night went — how our baby slept, feeding patterns, diaper changes, and even little observations about baby’s temperament. These updates not only kept me in the loop but gave me so much peace of mind.
She went above and beyond every night — cleaning and sanitizing bottles, tidying up the nursery and kitchen, and making sure everything was in order before leaving. It was such a gift to wake up to a clean and organized space, especially in the middle of postpartum chaos.
What really set her apart, though, was the emotional support she offered me. In our chats before and after shifts, she created a safe space for me to talk openly about the struggles of postpartum life. She listened with compassion and without judgment, and affirmed me — not just as a new mom, but as a mom juggling a toddler and a newborn. She also had a great relationship with my husband which made me feel confident going to bed before she arrived on the days I was simply exhausted.
