Haley was an absolute dream to work with for the birth of our first child. She was responsive and thorough with every question I asked her during pregnancy, which was so reassuring. I went into labor 2.5 weeks early and Haley was a calming force throughout the entire birthing experience. She helped us labor at home for as long as possible and assured me that I could do hard things. She has a nursing background, so she was able to answer medical questions and felt comfortable in a hospital setting. I love how she was an added teammate for the birthing process with my husband and me. She didn't take away from my husband comforting me and she put both of us at ease. An added bonus was that she took photos of my birth so that I can look back on my experience at any time. We will definitely use Haley again when we have another child! If you are on the fence about whether or not to hire a birth doula, you should hire Haley and know that it's the right choice!!
