Being a first-time mom and learning the benefits of having a doula on a birthing team, I was sold on the idea. From there, I researched doulas in our area and found Natasha. Her personality was exactly what my husband and I were looking for: warm, calm, kind, assertive and analytical.
While I had hoped to have a vaginal birth, that wasn’t in the cards for us and we planned a C-section. Even though Natasha wouldn’t be able to support us in the OR for the birth (due to hospital rules), she helped us not only prep for the C-section procedure and what to expect, but she also provided knowledge and support during our decision-making process prior to the procedure. After our baby had arrived, Natasha visited us the next day in the hospital and then after we had been home a few days to offer a helping hand for me and baby.
I highly recommend Natasha and would book with her again in a heartbeat!
