Giving birth to another human being is such an intimate life changing event. When my doula couldn’t make it, Jenn was there. I had never met her previously, but after one conversation I knew she was going to be an asset to my birth. She was so knowledgeable and calming. If it wasn’t for Jenn I don’t know how I would have gotten through my labor. She helped me out in so many ways. She knew exactly how to help especially when I started panicking and when the pain got unbearable. She advocated for me when I couldn’t, and helped me make decisions when complications arose. Jenn made sure no one came in my room with bad energy and that every decision was my own and not medical staff. She was always empowering me through her encouraging words. She helped me face my fears in labor head on.
