My husband and I have just welcomed our first child and we can't imagine having done that without Kerry! When we first met, Kerry immediately made both of us feel comfortable and secur and her experience and knowledge were clear from the start. When I was induced unexpectedly, Kerry immediately shared helpful induction information so I could ask informed questions before she got there and made herself completely available. When she got to the hospital, Kerry immediately worked with the nurses to make sure I was comfortable and changing positions frequently. She was aware of every option the doctors laid out when I was slow to dilate and later, when the baby experienced a dip in heart rate, and made me feel confident in the decisions I was making. Kerry also brought my husband into the birthing process beautifully! I have great memories of laughing together even during the final moments of pushing. I can't forget to mention that Kerry brought the most delicious lactation cookies, which were such a postpartum treat! I highly recommend Kerry as a doula to anyone who is considering it!
