Not only does she have a beautiful, nurturing presence, but she's also an incredible advocate, especially when it comes to navigating hospitals and interacting with doctors. As an African American woman, you often hear the horror stories about how women of color are treated in hospitals, but with Jasmin by my side, I felt safe, heard, and truly advocated for.
I gave birth in Medford, Oregon, at 4 a.m., and Jasmin made sure to be there right on time, showing up and supporting me through every single moment of the experience. Even after my baby was born, Jasmin continued to care for me by visiting me at home to ensure that I was okay. Her advice was always spot-on, and she consistently checked on me during my postpartum journey.
I truly could not have asked for a better doula to stand by my side. She went above and beyond in every way, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants a dedicated, loving, and strong advocate throughout their birth experience.
