Lindsey was such an amazing integral part of my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. Lindsey is the type of person that will make you feel like a cared for family member from day one of meeting her. From the moment I met her, I instantly felt warmth and compassion from her. She has the perfect approachable personality for this type of work and is so incredibly knowledgeable, I felt like I was in such good hands, which really helped me so much when approaching the final weeks leading into my birth and then everything to follow. I really wanted to have a natural birth experience but was really scared about how it was going to go and if I would be able to handle it. I can say with 150% confidence the only reason I was able to achieve the birth experience I wanted was because of Lindsey's support. She was so dedicated and such a calming and reassuring presence throughout my labor and birth. She was there through every moment by my side holding my hand, giving me pelvic pressure for pain relief for every contraction, providing me with anything I needed. I still get emotional to this day thinking about how cared for I felt with her there. She makes your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum process feel like such a special and sacred event for the mother just as much, if not even more than for the baby, which is SO important. Many moms will lose grip on remembering that their needs are extremely important during these times. I also have to say for anyone who is debating on whether they need a doula or if it's a right fit for them, that Lindsey is SO RESPECTFUL to whatever birth experience you are looking for. She would have supported me if I wanted ALL the pain interventions medicine can provide, what matters most to Lindsey is that I am heard. I hope that many many more mothers get to have the amazing experience of working with Lindsey in the future because she is so special I feel honored to have had her in my life. <3
