My wife and I hired Adele to help us through our first journey into parenthood. Our first meeting with her was really great, she answered all of our questions, gave us good book recommendations, and just made us feel comfortable. We instantly knew we wanted to hire her as our doula. The months leading up to the delivery were made easier knowing we were able to reach out to Adele with any questions or concerns, and she was always quick to respond. The day of the delivery was pretty crazy as our baby decided to come 4 weeks early, but Adele rushed to the hospital to meet us, made it before our midwives did and proceeded to coach my wife through the delivery. She helped my wife feel empowered, and we felt at ease knowing she was helping our choices and wishes be met during labour. She stayed with us after the delivery, made home visits to help with breastfeeding and support, and continued to check in with us afterwards. I felt just as supported as a new father, this journey was just as new to me and I had a lot of worries or didn’t know how to help, but having Adele at our side was so helpful in so many ways. All in all, Adele helped us feel comfortable and supported throughout the whole journey and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone, she is so knowledgeable and such a calm presence. We’ll definitely be calling her when we decide to go down this journey again!
