We've had Jolene for 2 home births and I would highly recommend her to any woman in any birth scenario. She was communicative and supportive of whatever was stressing me out in the moment. In my first birth, I really wanted a Dula in case we needed to go to the hospital to help advocate. What I wasn't expecting was how much I needed Jolene for labor! I don't think I would've been able to "stay on top of" contractions without her. She comes equipped with a bag of goodies, like spikey balls, to help you through contractions. Jolene steps in wherever she is needed without hesitation, from giving back rubs during labor, to helping with food/ clean up afterward. One of my favorite things she does is the pictures/ videos she takes during labor, delivery, and afterward. I LOVED looking back on both births after the fact and treasure those pictures. If you're on the fence of having pictures taken, do it. You won't regret having Jolene as part of your support team!
