I have used Patricia for all three of my homebirths. While every experience and birth is different, a common theme in all of them is Patricia's reassuring and tranquil presence. This third time around, I am so happy she was still a member of my dream birth team.
My birth was speedy but mighty and I can remember Patricia's active role guiding me through each contraction. I was in disbelief this baby was coming on his due date. I just kept asking her "Is this real labor? Are you sure!" She was so helpful, like always.
I ended up in the pool at some point but changed my mind and relocated to my bed, in no time Patricia was immediately ready for this move. Assisting me out of the pool onto the bed, letting me have full control of this birth. A few more contractions, she held my leg up, and the baby was earthside.
We are so unbelievable grateful for Patricia's continued support. We have made a lifelong friend.
