Meredith was such a relief for this first time grandma. Although I did birth 3 children of my own, I was not prepared to coach my daughter the way her and her husband needed. That's where Meredith came in. My daughters birth was similar yet different than mine and when things were scary or not progressing or I was just plain tired Meredith was right there to answer questions and step in where needed and where we didn't know we needed help. When we were doing okay, Meredith was still with us encouraging us but allowing us to just be together in the moment without interference.
