Lucy was our doula for the birth of our first child in 2024, and boy, was she a necessary part of the team! Lucy helped us immensely with the education and prep (both physical and emotional) during pregnancy. She had candid discussions without judgment. Most importantly, Lucy was our advocate during labor. She was vital to ensuring I could make the choices I wished for during my birthing process; she did an excellent job creating relationships with the hospital staff, maintaining a calm environment, and managing communication. She was with us in the hospital for my entire labor - 24 hours long! - and then helped with golden hour and initial latching. Lucy's lactation advice was vital and I am still breastfeeding my son 5+ months later. We are so happy we connected with Lucy as our doula! She will always be part of our birth story and our family.
