My name is Margaux, and I’m French, living in Brooklyn with my husband, who is also French. We welcomed our first baby, Hector, last August, and Julie was our postpartum doula for several months, mainly in the afternoons, twice a week.

And with Hector, she was simply wonderful—so calm and caring that I felt completely at ease leaving him with her while I took much-needed time for myself.
