As a first time mom, I was terrified of childbirth. There were so many unknowns and I just didn’t feel prepared despite everything I had read about it. I also expected my family to be around when I had the baby, but in reality I was completely alone because of my Uncle passing away a few days prior.
Lily made me feel so safe, secure and confident as a first time mom. She made my birthing experience so positive. I missed my family -especially my mom- so much, but because Lily was there with me, I was able to get through to birth with almost no complications. Lily made herself available at all times and was so communicative the day my contractions started. She made me feel so calm in the delivery room and overall I just felt she was there to advocate for me and make sure I was taken care of. When I next decide to get pregnant, I will make sure to use Lily as my Doula. I cannot recommend Lily enough. She is truly amazing!
