When we found out that we were pregnant one of the first things I knew I wanted was a doula & after hearing my friends experience with The Birth Collective it seemed like a no brainer to set up a meeting! It ended up being the best decision and we were so blessed to have Bree as our doula to welcome our daughter into the world. What started as a hope for an unmedicated birth switched to a semi-urgent induction and Bree was supporting me & my husband minutes after the news when I called her. She made the trip to our house to walk us through what an induction would look like at our specific center & had an induction kit ready for us to take and use until she was needed at the hospital. Her guidance and support truly made such a difference in how I was able to cope and make informed decisions. She not only supported myself, but also my husband and family when they had questions or concerns. Her humor broke through some tense times in the most perfect way and her gentleness and care gave me the strength to get my daughter here safely. Bree truly was a god send and we are so thankful for her! We know when the time comes for baby #2 we will immediately be reaching out to The Birth Collective again!
