I highly recommend Ashley as a doula. I am a first time mom and my goal was to have a natural birth in a hospital birth center setting. Ashley supported my decisions and my birth plan while also providing me with information and her expertise to help us make decisions. It was so comforting to have Ashley available through text and phone in the later weeks of my pregnancy and when I went into labor. The biggest blessing Ashley gave me was the ability to let go, trust my body, and let my birth take its course. She was there to support me during contractions with counter pressure, massage, suggestions on position changes and invaluable mantras that helped me through it, and it was so nice to talk with her between the contractions. When decisions had to be made in the labor room, it was so comforting to be able to ask Ashley for my options to keep course on my birth plan. My husband really appreciated how Ashley’s presence helped him stay calm and enabled him to help me through labor in ways he wouldn’t have known how to on his own. I 100% feel like Ashley was the advocate and support that I and my husband needed, and because of that, we had a beautiful and peaceful birth experience in a hospital. Ashley’s postpartum support was also very helpful for a first time momma! Ashley is an amazing doula, and we hope she is still working and available for any future kids we are blessed with.
