We can't say enough great things about The Birth Collective! We unexpectedly ended up needing to be induced in the hospital rather than birthing at a birth center, and Sarah was there to help support us through a labor and delivery that looked nothing like we had planned or desired. She provided gentle encouragement in a chaotic environment and advocated for us to ensure our birth wishes were respected as much as possible. The way she stood up to the doctor for us - total boss and we love her for it! The birth photos are incredible as well! Sarah came to our house for the postpartum visit a couple weeks later and spent time just sitting with us. Her priority was to help process the birth and make sure we were adapting well to a new baby. Having a postpartum home visit where the focus was on the wellbeing of the parents rather than only the baby was especially appreciated!
And Bree - she is a milk whisperer! She came to our house to deliver placenta pills, but ended up providing so much lactation support as well. With her "breast bootcamp" my milk was flowing within a couple hours of her visit after nearly a week of struggle and frustration.
We highly recommend The Birth Collective for support in any birth, and will definitely use them again if we have another baby!
