Words simply cannot describe how wonderful Carolynn is. I will not go without her by my side for future labor and deliveries. She "carried me" through the whole process and was supportive even beyond the birth of my baby boy!
In my experience, she was very patient, never complaining, and did not leave my side. She knew exactly what to do in every moment and knew what to say/ask ask the hospital staff when something was needed. She met us at the hospital within minutes of my arrival, and helped me to get settled as things started to progress. She encouraged me and gave suggestions on how to make my labor more comfortable. She kept me hydrated and relaxed as much as possible. Through my back labor, she rubbed/massaged me to relieve the pain. She walked me through the breathing techniques in order to get through the pain and accomplish my goal of an unmedicated birth! I felt confident because she was there to help me!! Never once was I unsure of what to do next because of her loving guidance. Once baby had arrived, she spent countless hours helping me breastfeed him - I truly owe her my ability to exclusively BF him. She truly is amazing at what she does and I have full confidence in her knowledge, ability, and care.
All in all, if you are considering Carolynn as part of your team, don't think twice, DO IT!!! You won't regret it!
